K so you're just talking out of your ass about these imaginary multiple groups. Just had to make sure so your opinions wouldn't be taken seriously.

If you're EQMS and you're worried about me calling your guild out... it's not going to happen. I've never had an issue with Zerg guilds, or true PK guilds. My issue is with those chicken shit reds that don't want to accept consequences. As for the pks rolling in dungeons, are you trying to tell me that none of them are faction members? That must be because they all have integrity, right. LOL I can't tell you for sure that at least 7 out of the last 10 I've been attacked by were. I'll keep a log for you moving forward ;P

It's not the faction fights that are a real issue with blues. It's when the faction fighting dies out and guilds like EQMS and other reds roll 20 deep to stand outside of Destard and rez kill pvmers. So to fix this, we need to keep faction fighters fighting. And we've come full circle.

Oh you mean the ones ressing off screen and then running up to spam a shit talking macro or loot bodies. If these geniuses don't get the idea after the first couple res kills then they are d-e-n-s-e.

This is a war, they are the enemy, and they are running up to the enemy army in the middle of a battle yelling 'fuck u fucking assholes' or 'lol keep going assholes!' or 'free resist keep it up'.

Put a ghost gate to brit healers at the entrance to each dungeon or something.

I think there are two different issues being discussed in this thread:

First: EQMS. The top/elite PvPers don't like EQMS because they are "winning" factions with brute force/numbers. There is little elegance or "skill" in their strategies and it pisses the top PvPers off because it grinds faction to a halt and ruins the game for those groups who think they should fight in a more traditional way. Maybe it is because the other factions don't like losing their kill points, they just don't want to die, don't want to use the resources needed, can't wrap their heads around any other strategies, or most likely the chance of losing bruises their fragile egos.. But in this, Gluttony and others speak a lot of truth when arguing against specific nerfs targeting EQMS; because, mostly, they stay in the Brit PvP zone or doing faction business. Yes they occasionally raid a champ spawn or hang out in front of Destard (but they don't go in... they simply follow the number one rule of group PvP and stay together.)

Second: Reds. Everyone has a red and that's an issue. It has been complained about numerous times that blues run by you, recall, and log on their reds to kill your PvMer. With so many accounts and character slots people can do this ad finem. This became a problem with LOLz who just gated in with a 10 man zerg, PKed a single bard, and gated out. Jeitarium even streamed what they were doing and it propped the door wide open showing that other groups that they could easily imitate. Add the stream of new PKs this created with those who were already playing on the shard (and all the other bandwagon-jumpers that came to UOF from other shards) and no one even wants to go farm because they are afraid that they will lose their stuff and time.

IMO, reds need a stiffer penalty for getting statted. I like the buy-back program, where the amount of counts determines the fee; however, I think that an acct should only be able to do this once per 48 hour period. Afterwards, if their head is turned in it should stat every character on that acct (or maybe just the reds if everyone is gonna QQ bout that) for 48 hours.

There must be deterrents from being a red character. Right now we are all well aware that the penalties are too soft.

I assure you not everyone, including myself was spamming anything. Perhaps some were trying to see if they could recover what little wasn't looted.

So salty lately Karl.

If someone doesn't see there's an issue then they are d-e-n-s-e. I get you defending your guild. This isn't about EQMS. This is about the red system and how to balance it.

You're opinion is valid for sure.

Honestly Sky, the only way to keep faction players fighting faction players is to restrict factions to non-reds. You'll have to force them to fight orange other wise we have what we currently have.

Yes I am in EQMS, and no I am not worried about you calling anyone out. In fact, I have specifically asked you multiple times in this thread to call the "offenders" out. My reason for doing so is because you are posting A LOT in this thread asking for nerfs yet you won't back up your claims with proof.

As for the comments about them being faction members, what benefits are you talking about specifically? Even if they are a part of the faction holding the Sigil of Murder (1/4 chance), they still have to pay for their head back if they are cut by a non-factioner. A few weeks ago before LOLZ merged into EQMS people were complaining because we "had it easy" being non-factioners and PKing in dungeons since we were able to get gated out after being attacked whereas factioners could not since they would be faction flagged. Now the argument is the other way around....factioners "have it easy."

I don't doubt that some of the PKs running around are in factions. I know wendy whoppers solo PKs on his factioner. I've seen him multiple times at Fire Temple getting ganked by the racist CoM. But the point you're trying to make is that these small groups take no part in faction objectives, which is not the case.

I'm saying this to point out how ridiculous your arguments sound, along with anyone else who agrees with you.

I don't have a log... but I can start from here on out if that makes you feel better. I'm not sure why I need to cause you openly admit here " I don't doubt that some of the PKs running around are in factions" As for Wendy... she is a real PK no issues.

Nerfs.... is that how you see it? I see it as correcting a mistake that made this shard easy street for being red.

What is easy about being a red? The fact that if you die you cant play for 2 days?

What is hard about being a blue? ______________ ?

yea, removing reds from factions by force is definitely going to improve faction PVP.

Have you played Ultima Online before, Lexington?

Can someone explain to me why the "Cannot enter town as a murderer because youve recently been in combat" feature exists?

shane is generally always scared that red players could possibly scare away his precious bluebians, so when they first added the no-cut zone outside Britain they made it so that red factioners couldnt enter town once flagged on a blue. As time passed by it was eventually removed but parts of it seem to have remained, leaving us with this bug.

Non-faction pks or anti-pks would love this.

reds and oranges likewise shouldnt be able to enter houses once they were attacked, and should suffer from mount stamloss. The only way to survive should be via a gate or by casting recall (if not crim).

It's not like that now.... you're not out for two days. You're not out at all.

There is nothing hard about being blue... aside from that damn time you need to level metas.

Hey... I'm not looking to ruin your fun... but if you're scared of consequences this isn't the game for you.
