whats ur template on that..and im assuming its berserker?

my berserker is only lvl 3 with a lvl 4 tread but i run gm swords tactics anat healing hiding resist 80 magery 40 med (720 cap)

Almost the same like yours. I got 100 magery with 40 int and 20 med.

Rune books can hold up to 100 charges.
Get your mage to mark all the runes you need once and forever.
Having magery with 25 intel on a dexxer seems silly to me.
I'm sticking with:

Swords 100
Lumberjack 100
Tactics 100
Healing 100
Anatomy 100
Resist 100
Hiding 100

Carrying pots is not a big deal with preparation. Also with the slow axe swings, disarming self and potting between swings works well when needed.

The wiki says right there at the very end you can use power scrolls to increase chance of chopping special woods, but not increase damage...

Sorry I was referring to the part about LJ not simply giving 40% increased damage at gm. I've read and understood whats written in the wiki.
