CHANGE THE STUN TIMER BACK FOR MAGES PLEASE

I think the stun timer needs put back the way it was for mages, this little 2 second or whatever it is timer now makes it to where mages can hardly even 1 v 1 each other anymore, so rather than promoting individual fighting, you are giving another reason not to. MORE ZERG YAY! 1 v 1 alchy is probably one of the most enjoyable things to do on UO and not to mention requires much skill, but with this tiny little stun timer you can hardly do it effectively anymore and kill someone, unless they suck ofc.

Why was it changed in the first place? If dexxers get 3 second stuns and higher damage pots, why cant mages have 3 second stuns like they always have?

Im pretty sure they lowered stun chances too, which im not as displeased about, but damn its hard as hell to stun anyone now, ill fail 9 of 10 attempts. THEN WHEN I DO STUN someone, they run offscreen before I can cast a single spell, LOL

I agree it didn't need changed, but I don't think tamers should be allowed to stun, but either way, yeah stun changes were not a good idea.

For a tamer to stun now they need to have a gimped template with the lore changes... if they wanna gimp their template to have 70 resist and 70 med to stun on a tamer, go for it.

I still don't think they should have the ability. BUT EITHER WAY, its a minor issue compared to the HUGE ELEPHANT in the room, of this stun change!

No, they lowered stun on mages and dexxers by one second. Its short as fuck now on mages. and you cant 1 v 1 anymore, which is terrible
Stun and para blow WAS 4s. It was reduced by 1s to the NOW 3s. Tamers who use stun, deal out only 2s stuns.

In 3s, you can easily cast exp (1.75s) and more than half of a eb (1.75s) before they start moving. They will not get away from being hit by an eb. That is assuming you cast as soon as the stun lands. Basically 3s means that you can no longer twiddle thumbs before getting your attach together.

Yes but if everyone wants it changed back, then why was it changed? I was told by staff to post this in suggestions, and see what the response was. It is not good for 1 v 1's. It was great the way it was, which is the way it had been for a long time. So why was the change implemented? Did someone not like it?

Like halygon explained, 3s is fine for mages. I think 4s is more appropriate for fencers though since they have more on the line. Also because they're not as useful to begin with.

Still even if spear stun was 4 seconds I don't think they would become more useful than a mage. So I can't see why it's a bad idea

Also, im referring to 1 v 1. It really hurts 1 v 1. I know most ppl have no idea what 1 v 1 is anymore, but its really fun, you should try it.
