Just spent the last 3.5 months hiking the northern half of the Appalachian Trail, about 1,160 miles! Taking a week or so off and gonna tackle the southern half!
Very impressive man!, how large is your group?
I debating taking the same trek but have always cowardly backed down. We have the Ice Age Trail here in Wisconsin and I plan on doing the length of that next year but its nothing in comparison.
What have you been wearing for shoes and hows has the weather been to you? Any stories you wish to share?

Lolol these salmon are upstream for the spawn, their skin turns a dark color due to the change in water temp/malnutrition. They stop eating before they enter the stream, but a bit bigger than a brown trout ;p
