I never said I wanted it. I'm simply asking why it's a bad idea.

If you re-read my previous posts I think you'll find I've stated that throughout.

I don't see what it would hurt, but that's not the same thing as wanting something.

I really feel like I'm repeating the same thing over and over and over at this point.

So Xombie when you want 70k in a char you dont have to recall home and move 10k each time or even worse fat checks.

I used to throw bags too but this is a new day for uo and needs some refresh.

Housing gold is not a good option you know that.

I think that this thingy would make the lives of all easier, would be a good gold sink and would not in any case alter the game. I don't think that if you dont have to go get your 2nd account char to give gold to the 1st has any impact whatsoever to your gameplay and you really cant convience anyone with that argument.

Anyway, enough trolling, I think it would be interesting idea, what do others think?

It's not about positive or negative. It's about keeping as much true with original UO as possible. I'd much rather see the dev team work on more important things like dungeons, pvp, events etc. Instead of devoting code time to save someone 5 minutes of their time to transfer gold between characters.

Yes, yes, I'm sure it would take months and months (probably years) of coding to implement something like this.

(That's sarcasm...I know some people have difficulty with sarcasm in text form.)

For someone who "doesn't want this feature" sure is fussing about it non-stop. Let me list a couple of ways you can share gold with your other characters:

1. Make another account and trade between characters who are in same town as your one in dire need of gold.

2. Buy a house and secure a chest.

3. Make a mage that can mark runes and recall to certain locations to drop gold off with characters that aren't in the same area as you.

4. Play your other characters and make gold with them instead of trying to nerf them with your most wealthy character.

5. Gtfo.

Yeah cuz its such a hassle to log out and log back in. Why don't you just play your other characters and make gold WITH them? Otherwise sounds like you don't need to play other characters. Just play one.
