I understand that we need new donation items that keep the money going into the server. I even understand the neon items. But all of these new items are making the server look quite tacky (quiver, soiled loincloth, boot/mask layering deeds) it's getting a little crazy.
We have people walking around with neon boots, with sandals on top, with bright blaze masks stacked on top of other masks. Not only does layering items look tacky (with the exception of sash layering, which adds to the aesthetic of the game). Most of us didn't play SE or ML for a reason, the items looked glitchy, unpolished, and unprofessional I was hoping UOF would avoid Samurai Empire and Mondain's Legacy graphics just for that reason.
Don't want to sound rude or unappreciative, as I myself have donated quite a lot. But I think if we brain stormed and added new items instead of adding weird colors and layering deeds, we could accomplish much more. Brit bank is starting to look like one of those weird free servers where everyone rides around with crazy hues. I hope that you understand this criticism comes from a good place, I just don't want UOF's brit bank to look like uoforever's WBB.
I think that as time passes, we'll find that these items were a mistake, as I believe they discourage new players upon joining and discourage older players who aren't used to this kind of thing from OSI.
