No position on having arch and its tentacles target nearest reds first? then grays? THEN blue toons? After all its a BLUE quest and it gets squatted by reds.
Seems to even things out a bit.
And quite honestly, if one person (no matter the template) can not only survive against 3, but kill 2 in the process?

Or gm mage w eval, med, ss, mage et al fizzling when casting flamestrike.

While you sit there and run a background macro to heal once health gets below X.
Or one that insta-cures when poisoned?

PvMers dont typically have these macros running all the time like PVPers.
And thats not knocking pvmers OR their skill levels.
Some just play for fun and dont need the pixelized satisfaction of having the largest e-peen.

I would think any group popping into a champ spawn to take it from the folks who have worked it down will have a pre-loaded spell upon arrival. I mean it's a free e-bolt/flame strike (I like free, just not when it hits me in the freaking face ) and if 3 hit, you've dropped 1 person and can focus on the rest.

Do you really think you die in a raid becouse of an explo pots?

I suppose not, last time it was a tamer with a Death Beetle setup next to the Arch Ankh spamming Poison Field on the doorway.

On a PvP template it does, you get double reflect, up to 15 circles. That's like 2 Flame Strikes or 2 e-bolts and a lightning. Most PvMers with Inscription are using them to make recalls and such, using it as a crafting skill as opposed to a combat skill.

Reds survive in champ spawn with all the mobs that insta attack them plus they kill you

I've only been to Arch and there are only like 4 mobs. Wouldn't that tactic for other spawns be to run in, kill the players, then work the spawn? With backup healer/rezzers off screen once the suicide squad has cleared players?

You say this, but all my macros are set up to attack mobs, heal myself or another, and recall home. I don't pop into the champs with pre-loaded spells or with macros and pots set to target players over mobs.

we dont really use macros, we literally usually like dump people solo. when im there for raids and im not calling i just alchy dump people and thats 0 macros its just all hotkeys... most of us dont use hella macros/scripts its pure skillz

Is not about Macro/Template, is all about organization

This - $/Power are prepared for a raid and have the chars setup to do it. Blues need to think about defence rather than just escape. Does not need to be a fully grouped up defence party - just having an alt ready to recall in and fight or open up escape gates etc. The 10+ raids that we see are probably just multiple chars being used. I always remember watching a steam from power (flube I think) and realising that in most cases to 'win' you would need to kill at least 2 of his chars as he always another on standby.

always keep in mind every singel change over the last 3 made because ppl did cry about $ or power made it in the end worse for new/bad/random groups.

just 2 exsamples (there are alot more)

1. Warden
He was made nearly impossible to kill for ppl that dont know the fight, green keys now get wasted and loot was nurfed that he is now just nit worth doing anymore.

2. RDAs
RDAs are now impossible for groups that dont have high end Pets and/or Talis.
They also now near to impossible to find for new ppl.
