It's not so much about trading to get a kill as it is removing the quick buzz kill from someone quickly and easily finding out that it's trapped. If they couldn't see the warning message, their curiosity would build and build to uncontainable levels, and they would have to open the box.

the "you cannot trade trapped items" thing gives it away. People have to let their curiosity answer the question.

Add to the tavern a Wench NPC that will talk to you at length with some well written bot lore, and take your gold in return for rares. There is no limit to how much gold the wench will take. The more you give, the more rares you collect. 100k, you get a love note. At 500k, you get a better love...

An idea for a dono item is a mount that you can ride as a ghost. This would greatly enhance spying abilities and lookouts. Good for both PKs and counter-PKs.
