I had originally written more of a rant about item placement but wanted to move it to the bug/support area for more constructive discussion. I understand that issues like this are seen as minor and I'm not sure if they'll ever be addressed but I wanted to post them anyway because they are a...
I'm not having problems placing items on the tile that I intend, I'm having trouble with the aesthetics of placing items.
As I said in the OP, items are attached to the wrong edge of their respective tile.
Paintings which face SOUTH should be on the NORTH edge of their tile which would place...
Little bit of misinformation in this thread.
My primary char is a fisher, I've only been on the server about 10 days but I've learned a lot about fishing in that time.
I fish for at least a couple hours every day. I have yet to encounter another player on the ocean.
If someone does find you...
It's been a while since I've played UO but I do not remember items being this horrible to place in a house.
It seems like a lot of items don't "place" in the correct position and the interior decorator is VERY limited in what it can do.
After some experimentation and trying to place other...
Guys... I think people forgot to notice what the OP said.
He said he recalled to the ship and it was burning down, as in someone scuttled it.
When a ship is scuttled, the runes for it disappear and the ship goes into the owner's bank box.
The rune didn't go back to the original owner, it...
Hey, I used a couple skill scrolls today for lock picking. They didn't give the full 1.0 points as promised but instead took me from 95.0(real) to 96.7(real).
Here's a picture. You can see the first scroll actually says that it gave 0.9% in the log.
I macroed healing on the ghost on the WBB roof and kept the bandages in my bank the entire time without the use of a restock macro.
It also seemed that I was able to use them when my bank box wasn't even open once I started the macro.
It was a bit odd but I just went with it.
As far as I know, it's a percentage chance based on all the factors of what you're doing, how rested/fed you are, and any bonuses or penalties such as being in a house(-25% gains) or dungeon(+50% gains).
I've played "guaranteed" gain shards and they're super boring because you can do the math...

Hey all, I just started but apparently got lucky enough to get a statue off of a troll I was fighting. It's bright blue.
I don't know what it's worth but I'd like to sell it to put the money towards my boat fund. Any advice/interest please let me know!
Hey Karl, my name is Sercruse in-game as well. I'm a fencing character. I wasn't really creating this thread as a way to look for [more] handouts or anything but after the awesome experience I had this morning, having it all ripped out from under me was a bit jarring.
If you want to meet up in...
No this is something else... I specifically remember seeing at least 1 or 2 "Server is saving..." messages.
I had been playing for a couple hours before I was disconnected.
I just started playing the game, created my character and ran into a REALLY nice guy who set me up with a bit of in-game gold to get started as well as some armour and magic weapons .
Server restarted or something(not sure because I had walked away from the PC for a few minutes due to a phone...
