Slower bandages, bad or good?

ps you logged onto uof lately? its a dexxer's paradise

You mean there are a handful of red solo dexers around the place (some shit, some good) who actually have the nuts to play without someone holding their hand, and when spotted by pvp starved blue marathon/wand mages, they get the entire "crew" to come in and target closest explosion/ebolt for "sum leet pvp" then statlossed with subsequent discord/forum posts about there being no pvp.

Seeing as whines gets shit done here, please fix mini heal spam - spell recovery is a joke. Even terrible players pinging low can out damage a gold runic weapon with small heal spam whilst only having barbed ar on.

Staff made a mistake with the bandage timer formula and that's okay because they are making moves to fix it. I seriously doubt we would see a drop in players if the bandaid change went in, with any change you gotta adapt. We have been squeaking that wheel for years and now it's more than the bandage timer that makes dexxers op, its the combination of factors that I stated previously in this post(see page 1) that make them op. People want to see some balance for dexxers in the field and they are 100% right. The bandage change will breath fresh air into consensual pvp, red dungeon dexxers will be more manageable to fight against and if staff really feels its in the wrong direction they can revert the change.

I assure you it won't hurt you in PvM. Adapt, embrace the kite lyfe,carry a few more heal pots and wear more slayer ar while riding a swampy(-20% dmg from mobs). I know that def tali has to be damn near lvl 10 ;)
i dont care about the pvm. my point is that the same formula has been used for years with complaints voiced once in a while. I think the people bitching about bandages are being just as dramatic and hyperbolic about how OP dexers are.

I personally hate statloss and don't think you should punish people for pvping. You like dungeon pvping/pking and thats fine, different strokes for different folks. When you are numbered vs mages yes you gonna take the dik, its a damn shame people are so quick to stat this server its one of the #1 killers of pvp imo.

I agree with the miniheal fix too.

I didn't read your other post where you explained all the combined factors... but if staff made a mistake that resulted in dexers being OP it was allowing the pot tossing while caring a two handed weapon.

I stated that as well in another post. yes, you're right its one of that factors that contributed to the opness for sure. Not saying we have to revert all the buffs to dexxers but taking out a few would be a good start

I've never played a UO server in my life where the bandage timer was this fast. People want to semiafk/run two clients/rock some good ar/loop a bandage/cure self-macro and mindlessly farm. That was never uo, you had to kite the mob wait for the bandage to kick and go back in. People crying they would quit about a bandage change, don't like change and just don't want to adapt to actual uo mechanics, they love easy street.

I absolutely can if you're talking about pure dexer. It's my favorite character to play at the moment. Running without magery and using the current bandage timer... I get owned by every competent mage %99 of the time. It's so easy for any mage to weaken double exp and ebolt / lightning me to death. They typically don't even need to toss a pot.

Let’s split the difference and add +1 second leave poison timer as is, and reduce the amount of heal penalties for slips by 25%.

whats a pure dexxer? You are dying from overcommitting as soon you get weakened you should of str potted up, as soon saw you him spell combing and you're not stunned, run. Its not easy, you're just making it easy. Gotta live n learn in this pvp stuff

ps i''m talking a 7x alchy, scribe, pvp dexxers. i have no idea what a pure dexxer is I'm guessing its similar to wreckongize "pure archer" build

As for abiding dude. Yes I read everything you wrote. I still dont think the bandage increase is necessary but if it happens I am not going to freak out about it either.

Hey Youngstar , are you delusional because of the impending bandage changes ?

Genocide pete has never ever killed me 1v1 and he would have accepted my challenge at wrong roof eons ago if he think he could . My offer is still open for your whole guild you know ?

Anyway maybe you should have a internal meeting with your guildies that promoted these changes rather than putting these ideas down without any solid reasons . Its just ironic isnt it ?

Just pointing out the fact that you should talk to your guildies first since they were the ones that promoted these changes . Makes no sense you throwing a tantrum whatsoever over on forums

These bandage times have been in place for over 3 years. Why has it become such an issue in the last few months? The armor nerfs have been in place for around 1.5-2years. There has been tons of pvp if all kinds in time and yeah some have grumbled about it off and on but they have been squeaking that wheel ear piercingly loud in the last few months.
