I don't have a tamer (yet) but how exactly does the pet summoning ball work? Once a pet is linked to it, it can be summoned back to you forever - or does one pet ball = 1 summon/use?

Were the balls really made in response to players trapping pets?
Put in the bounty system for pets. I -think- that would be simple to implement and pretty fair.

provided the captor gets the bounty money and not some shitty NPC in the middle of the hedgemaze
