This will happen. It is an artifact of how the cove 4 mobs were done. I recoded them but I need to respawn parts of the level.

i don't like this idea, because it opens the door to boss monsters being vulnerable to slayer weapons

Some bosses are vulnerable to slayers and some aren't, by the way.

annd why not ?? I see zero zilch good reson to not include slayer vulnerabilitys on boss mobs ... this is what makes slayer weps valuble ..
