WTS Shards First Agapite Runic Hammer!!!!

Messremb

Grandmaster
that's right, the long awaited Agapite Runic Hammer is here. after nearly 18 months of people doing BODs the first one has finally been completed.

This hammer will produce 20 Weapons with (Exceptional, Indestructible, Power, Eminently accurate) modifiers. that means this weapon has a +11 damage modifier, that's 2 points above vanq. Weapons can be faction blessed with the new faction systems. Also if crafted in the crafting area you could end up with a slayer weapon.

Destroy your enemies in the field with blessed weapons they cant hope to match.

S/B is 2.5 mil

2.5 for 20 roughly equal-to-perfect (vanq/supreme) seems a little steep for a s/b

these are beyond Vanq weapns, and they will be the first ones on the shard. 20 beyond vanq weapons of your chosing with a chance at a slayer... 2.5 is more than fair,

you also need to consider the cost of filling this BOD. in trades and purchases I spent nearly 1.8 mil just filling the BOD. unless the GMs work on the BOD system (im not holding my breath) these will always cost an arm and a leg.

Not to be a dick but can you guarantee that exp and power gives +11, what I mean by that is is there a cap to the modifier, so it should be +11 but gets capped at +9?

But its missing the 10 tactics from not being supremely, and that's where im unsure if they're truly better than perfect vanqs

Of course they stack.. That's the reason for runic weapons. You get exceptional PLUS the magic power modifier.

It is not a perfect weapon, but that said an aggy runic weapon can only be beat by a valorite runic weapon. I've used them blessed in the field and in the pits.. They just plain destroy stuff.

Get a crushing blow with an aggy runic war hammer and it feels like insta death.

Good stuff and I'm glad someone was finally able to get one. Hope it sells well and that the buyer gives me a war hammer from it :)

Well I know they would stack, just unsure if they were capped

plan to see people running from dexxers faced with aggy weapons, anyone smart would not fight an aggy war hammer or katana or kriss....

But there will be thieves trying to provoke you into a fight so they could disarm and steal it, bet your sweet arse on that.. if it isn't blessed I mean, heh. Of course not blessing it would kinda be ASKING to have it stolen eh?

By the way... Very nicely done and congratulations Messremb!! WoooT! ^5

Sweet, i would buy, BUT they are untested weapons and (correct me if im wrong), but if you are factions, it is only 1 week bless and attacking innocents means they destroy?

But even still.. if that's the case.. think of how much damage that weapon could do in a weeks time.. and how much gold and fortune it could amass.

I don't know much about the faction bless, but if that were the case, could you give it to another character of yours and re-bless it? Perhaps sell it to a guildie who could re-bless it maybe? {shrugs}

Monumental achievement. 18 months of collecting, trading, and patience. Kudos man, and to think there are still verite and valorite hammers that are more powerful. As for the mathematical formula...Who can really say with 100% certainty other than one of the administrators? Going back to old school days one could drop a gm made weapon or piece of armor on a vendor and it would calculate a price. This was very helpful to the crafter. One could see by the gp value attached to said item if it was a true a "high quality" gm item, and price it accordingly, or better yet, keep the higher value items for him or herself and sell the others. This was a tried and true method for us in the crafting world. I think if this system was in place it would at least be one way to have some degree of certainty.

I tend to agree with some of the previous posts. There is uncertainty. All we can really go off of are days passed, and thinking logically, unless a candid response from one of the developers is stated. I mentioned "true high quality" earlier in respects to just how well the item was crafted. Now we know that some hard numbers are in place. The indestructible durability which is awesome, 7 extra damage points for power quality, and 15% tactics bonus for being eminently accurate. These figures are stacked on top of the gm tag. For arguments sake lets just go with the notion that all gm items have a bonus of 4 to damage and even toss in a surpassingly accurate bump to tactics. What is this weapon? It is over the top indestructible. This is without question. The weapon is also 2 points above vanquishing damage level, and 10% surpassingly gm bonus plus the 15% eminently accurate tag which obviously equals 25% total tactics bonus ie supremely accurate. Make no mistake. This is a radical weapon, but in essence it is really only dealing out 2 more points of damage per hit than the most maxed out magic weapons that can be lifted off mobs.

All this being said, with the most high end weapons selling on reputable vendors at 25-30k , how on Earth can a 2 point bonus to max damage achievable warrant bouncing the weapon up 100k in value? Now, a weapon is worth what ever someone is willing to pay, but LOL what do the prices spring to when the verite and valorite hammers hit the scene? 125k per weapon. WOW.
