im not derailing anything im saying its a dumb idea no scripts are used ever and u have no proof they are. People have and need more than 1 acct per ship its constructive criticism my crafter has my 120 fishing so i shouldn't be allowed a bard on board? no its just dumb. just the same as people multiboxing to do lvl 6 treasure maps or levithens on ships

As for doin stuff for the community we all do ive dedicated Hours of my time and probably millons in items to young players as a companion. im not flaming u im debating your idea if you dont like my input on your suggestions tuff shit...

your posts in this thread have been productive how? you start every single post w/ some stupid comment on how you owned someone. lol go somewhere else. I tested boats > 12 hours last weekend before the patches to report several bugs that were significant. You and lost are angry at me for some reason and think that derailing my threads is funny. It doesn't matter, I will create the scripts to take advantage of these exploits and release them so everyone can use. There will be an update to the rules I'm sure.

I just find it strange that you guys who have spent most of your time in game on a boat would ***** as much as you do about having new additions to that play style and establishing rules for these additions.

I saw it last night in irc, every person that lost ran into he would come into irc and blab about how they are noobs bc they got sunk. If you want people to be out there, which it seems you don't, then the rules need to be established so people are aware of what is and isn't allowed. People having an unfair advantage isn't going to encourage new people to participate.

Not relevant to suggestions but like I said before, I could care less about losing 20k when I am sunk, that is not even a scratch. I have completed 12 whirlpools successfully and been sunk at 4. It is part of the game. Just because people are starting to move into the sea doesn't mean you rp pirates have to rage at every instance of human encounter.

To change the rules, there would have to be some rules in place. At the moment there are no rules to address exploiting pvp at sea by using multiple clients. I'm suggesting the staff address this, if they don't it is fine, I'll take advantage of all three clients.

Typically when you expose an exploit, those abusing it will be the ones to get upset. Take a look at this thread and see who is angry about the idea of introducing a set of rules for the new content. Those are likely the ones abusing it. Just saying.

I don't recall ever encountering you other than once or twice, only reason I know your name in irc is bc you cry all day w/ lost. I'd hope after years of spending all your time in a boat you'd be better than me at it. I have spent a total of maybe 20 hours in a boat in game... Lol

level 10 boat, it's not hard to do. Takes about 4 hours and 275 boats. No different than training a pvp character up against a friend/ second account. What is the complaint here? I've got about 40 kills on my boat, some of those are har and trin. Not sure why yall deny it all the time, but I've sunk you at least once.

Again, there's nothing against the rules in operating more than one account at once; just that you cannot have more than three. I see people do it all the time. Personally, I'm grateful for being able to do it. I can sit a character down in one, macroing. On the next two I can bring out my fisher and archer to go on a fishing trip. Sometimes others come, sometimes they don't.

If it were to be changed I think there would be some (read: a lot of) fairly upset community voices. I am not even sure how it could be mitigated.

I think the problem that most people are not seeing is that with 3 clients on one boat, people have can 2 archers with a xheal macro going with the 3rd client fishing/controlling the boat/whatever.. The problem comes when a boat is fired upon because it works like being flagged in PvP. Once the boat is fired upon, both of the xhealing archers are flagged and start firing arrows while the user controls the 3rd client to steer the boat/PvP/fire cannons as needed. This creates an unintentional & totally unfair situation where you're effectively using 3 clients to PvP. I agree that some kind of rules need to be created to avoid this type of situation but at the same time it is almost impossible to watch everyone at sea. Regardless, rules should be put in place to prevent this.

Incorrect on both accounts. You were misinformed.

However, to get this off of derailment, I still think that there is no way to moderate this if it were to become a rule of "no more using more than 1 account at a time" thing.

As I said, I'm not bringing a Provo archer archer fisher to pvp with. I'm doing it for whirlpool. When I go out to sink people I don't bring three, that's more clutter n chance for character to burn. I've been looking to buy 120 fishing all week, I'm not just out to sink people.

I don't care bring your pvm archer.. U don't see me bringing my red faction inscribe archer on boat..

I also think it's hilarious we are crying about being sunk, what's wrong duck face, you exploited your boat to level 10 in one night n now lower level boats are owning you. Why don't we focus on how you got to level 10, that's an unfair advantage sir.

I also didn't see Keith or duckface NOT abusing the boat speed that gave an unclear advantage. It's obvious when they can't compete on same level it's unfair but when they can spam forward n sink their own boat, it's hush hush. I didn't come here to wait around to play with friends, I like to do things on my own time.

Also if you knew either of us, you wouldn't be saying we spend most of our time at sea. I don't rip you for spending most of your time on your tamer.
