New here... what is a meta?

I keep hearing people talking about meta stuff. What is that? Relics and Meta pets?

So confused.. was that in AoS?

Meta pets like dragons and steeds start off as an egg. They progress through levels while training and evolve. They can be given relics through a stone which gives them special abilities.

There are also meta dexxers/mages which are talismans bound to your character. They are also leveled up and can have relics added to them for abilities.

Never played UO before here, but I think it's custom content here. Definitely worth doing.

Is this like end game PvE? Cause if so I am soooooooooooooo ready for this!

It doesn't have to be, but I think most people wait til end game because of the amount of gold it can take.

I have a level 7 meta dragon that I spent a lot of time on and I think they sell for 20m+

I guess it just depends if you buy relics or get them as drops from MOTM or RDAs

Lost me with the MOTM and RDA part.

RDA i think is just 'random dungeon area'. it's a gate that spawns randomly around the world, that leads to 1 of several custom mini-dungeons

The whole RDA thing is pretty interesting, basically a mysterious gate spawns somewhere randomly in the world and end-game PVE groups compete over finding these portals (through elaborate tracking methods) and completing them and getting out with the goodies before rival guilds show up.
