Lag since couple of days

I am playing from Germany, and it is laggy again since couple of days. It was actually fine after server change. Anything changed recently that cause the lag?
I have 300-400 ping, sometimes rising up to 2000!
Or is it ddos attacks?

same problem yesterday evening... 2000 ping for 20 mins then nothing for some time and then again 2000ping

Have you guys tried doing tracert's? I haven't been having lag in the states.

I'm from Europe too, The Netherlands to be exact and I'm having HORRIBLE lag the last week or so. I run 2 steps lag a full second, run 2 steps and lag a full second, etc etc.
I've never lagged so bad since I've joined UOF a few months ago.

This is the exact experience that I am having. How are you checking your ping? in game or at a command prompt?

Germany aswell: Frequent connection loss, random ping between 135 and 90000ms with ingame command. Its seriously annoying seems to be fine before 6pm GMT tho.

We are aware of a bad Node that was causing issues about a few days ago, that could be it.

We would need some trace routes to tell for sure from you euro people.

This is a US server so you're not going to have top tier ping in italy/germany unfortunately. But it shouldn't be too bad either.
