How does the looting system work?

Scav does not pull from corpses/containers.

There is an option some programs have (not razor) to auto open corpses as you run up to them. Not just auto open corpses that drop within two tiles. I feel like this gives a big advantage especially in an invasion environment.

Auto looting through Steam was a thing here and was fixed long ago. Big thanks to @AnsemUO for blabbing on forums and getting it fixed.*

*There could be other methods. Report suspected offenders and let staff take it from there.

Oh yeah and while we are at it the leapfrog command is fucking bullshit built-in hax.

I have to disagree with this. I have yet to find a way to auto loot anything. but the 'grabitem' is PRETTY handy....

There is a block trying to automate using 'moveitem' from a corpse in steam. The grid looting makes it pretty easy to grab gold. People can still loot faster than the grid from the default coffin. When multiple people are competing for a desired drop the quickest will still grab the old fashion way. Grab item in razor and steam isnt fast enough. I am not say no one is cheating but for events like the invasion I doubt anyone is just to loot gold.

As fir looting rights I dont know what the threshold is. Again for invasions there are people using some serious gear and often times 1 hit is enough for them to get rights. It sucks playing a bard ir mage when this happens since they dexers get first crack at the gold. There should have still been plenty of gold to loot. I know i left s lot behind. The same with many others. From time to time I did go around and just loot every corpse with gold on it ans found plenty.

yall never once mentioned how tbh its all about ping rates... not programs... bet half those people out looting you are actually out connecting you..... I ping almost 30 and out loot everyone I ever farm with where people accuse me of cheating....

and ya loot rights.. provoin something to attack each other may get a few attack in between them but the dmg a dexxer can put in per mob is insane almost 50-100 per swing easy so they build loot rights fast. mages have the short end of the stick on loot rights in any invasion for cost to farm unless in summon legal zones. if you are getting out looted while running a tamer... guarantee they just out ping you.

You are obviously new here, just search the forums for tons of people caught cheating with illegal speedhacks, modded clients with auto cross heals, auto explo pot eb syncs etc etc

I know of 2 people who use a modded razor with auto loot among many other features, and as much as i'd love to rat them out:

1) i'm no snitch
2) it'd be difficult to prove (even tho i have pics of said client)
3) staff wouldn't do anything about it anyways (not that they should, server would be dead if they banned every cheater)

So again, this has nothing to do with aliens and if you have half brain even a search with google will probably get you some of those clients. Not to mention if you can code you can do everything with sallos

Depends on what you mean by the word "Cheat"

Because in a client server system some operations are performed only by the server and what you see on the client is simply the result of this operation.

An example you can not change the points values life because they are server-side information.
Instead if regarding the graphic, the item etc. shape and color can change all being only client-side. But you only can see differece. Exist varius item pack whit more bigger reags image and other.

It'd be nice to chat about it, but people will always find ways to cheat. The "negotiate features with server" thing can be faked by people who know how to code.
Thank god the problem is not really widespread but there are indeed some people with auto loot, i literally say people walk through corpses and pick up gold and even gems lol

it is much easier to predict where corpse open and prepare mouse in position whit grab item targer already open. Also can edit item image for fast target whit big image or simple a colored rettangle.

- Rectangle green area where next body open

Also can use steam loot sistem can loot whit click on menu, but i not like it.

i'm not debating whether it's a good or a bad idea to use auto loot at an event in guard zone. I'm just saying that it is possible and i've seen it in action and i've seen the modded razor client running on UOF in pictures

there is an option on the uo client that will open the corpse ALWAYS in the same top right position... much easier for looting.

unfortunately lollo is right... there are modded clients that are not possible to detect and there is no solution for it.

Sure is possible, is possible a lot of more bad action than loot a item (like share target, auto thief script, explo script, crosshealm ecc ecc). I think use some of this in pvp is more bad. I never do PvP but is possible ppl use it.
