I think we'd see more varied templates(instead of alchemy in template or lose) and see skilled players shine if we implemented a few changes:
Not sure if this is the right place to suggest, but it seems a very logical change.
- Randomized explode timers that range from 3 to 6 seconds, or other variables.
- Cooldowns that match Healing Potions to remove mindless spamming
