Get this negative shit outta here. No one wants to hear this garbage. This thread reeks of trammel tears.
48 hour stat is fucking stupid, pretty mych trammel right there.
Pvp very low, shard pop decreasing... people get bored with no danger or excitement at the end game. Any blue player looking for casual pvp cant find it because statloss is too harsh for reds to throw their lives away.

Go hide under another thread, troll.
Murderer penalties? I'm sorry, I've been playing UOF for over a year now so I've probably forgotten, but what are those?
Trammel moonstones were awesome before we knew what they did.I can sell you some trammel moonstones.
it isn't negative, but rather constructive when it's true.
Someone's jealous. As a point, you know who we are, and yet.. don't know who you are. Random dungeon crawler #406?Sitting on a boat in empty sea's for a year does not give you merit on such a topic.
back on OSI we did have red factioneers, but they'd have to take risks to go to town. It worked. *shrugs*If they couldn't go in town wouldn't be able to take part in certain aspects of factions

No things are fine as they are thou personally i think 12/24hrs would be plenty of stat but it is pretty amusing that the the so called Hardcore fel reds cry harder and louder for things to be made "easier for them" while calling the people that want to keep things harder "trammies"
Dude compared to the original fel ruleset, 48 hours is trammel because of how short/not permenant it is.This thread reeks of trammel tears.

I think learning survival techniques is pretty key and not that difficult...before I set up a few basic macros I got "got" a few times ..I was also extremely rusty. Don't try and fight against bad odds escaping them is a win for you.I agree with Malk that I find it ironic that the same reds arguing for "risks" and "hardship" are wanting to be catered to in ease of killing PvE templates for with hardly any risk(especially compared to perma stat, etc). There should be risk involved in playing UO, but seeing 2-3 reds any time you even attempt to go anywhere within a 5 minute period is not how UO ever was, nor is in the spirit of the game. That's what you see on freeshards, no OG UO. A week is plenty of time to see the excess amount of PKs trampling newbies in dungeons. The reason you have to escort farm on this server for gold to begin PvE on something like a mage is because the penalties for being red are far to lenient and there are a ridiculous amount of them. And as for you all worried about the attitude of these people, I'm sure this is just a minority on this shard, and I've obviously struck an emotional cord with my post. I've seen many people in game, and am truly surprised at how nice most of you are.
I'm not asking anyone to change anything. I was simply suggesting what I believe would be far more beneficial to the growth of the shard. The reason people don't leave with more than 40 of each reg is because you can essentially be assured you will see a red when you attempt to do anything on this shard. It's just excessive. But all power to the devs, they know what they're doing, it seems.
The game has changed significantly since then though. People now run with target closest macros as stun scribe zergs using teamspeak to communicate instead of typing. There wasnt even party or guild chat back then. Very few could sync etcDude compared to the original fel ruleset, 48 hours is trammel because of how short/not permenant it is.
how do those things even correlate? connection to statloss? The game has changed significantly since then though. People now run with target closest macros as stun scribe zergs using teamspeak to communicate instead of typing. There wasnt even party or guild chat back then. Very few could sync etc
even back in the day most ppl were running dial up, and these hardcore players you speak of were cable.... As long as they had pouches they could run circles around most. Then add to the fact everyone wasnt as good at the game then either.
Most the posters here are utterly clueless. Your arguments to comparing uo to back in the day to now are along the lines of 'a ps one is the same as a ps4, because both have ps in the name...'
