Perhaps make shields not use a hand when you have it equipped (still no spellcasting) where you can use pots.

Alchy/parry and poison/parry become viable templates.

Its called balanced. And that would make dexxers untouchable. U would see katana shields with scribe and alchy destroying lol

Parry, scribe, alchemy, and magery would be tough to have in the same template, but I hear ya.

Couldn't be any worse than the current poisoning dex templates.

Swords tact anat parry magery scribe alchy/poison work scribe first drop int and med after and it can be worse lol cause theyd itd be poisner with 50% chance to parry any dexxer damage idk just my opinion
