What is ankh of blinding for?

what it is for? When you wear you got the "You are now protected from the destructive gaze of the Asylum Guardian", but so far I see no benefit in asylum dungeon

The ankh is dropped by the sanctum guards in the 4th area of the asylum. To get to them you will need a yellow and a green key. GL with getting a green key, they are a pain in the ass to get.
