What is a "CTF"?

Heya guys,

as in title, what are those "CTF" or probably open world CTF which are abbounced ingame?

Forgive me if it's different here but in a lot of other games CTF is capture the flag, normally a pvp event, where each team's objective is to take the enemy flag and return it to home base, whilst keeping your flag... hope that helps :-!

No probs, but i am still new, hope someone can clarify this, i haven't actually participated in one here lol

Tama is right, its 4 team Capture the flag event. The great thing is that u can join with any character - for the time of event u will get all skills (7x 100% - after event u will get back your skills that u had before event) and iteams for predefined character (like tank mage, mace figter, archer). You also wont lose any of your iteams that you actually have in backpack.

yea its really cool, when i was playing some years ago on other shards, on pvp events u should have your own fully skilled char and own iteams - here its more balanced - everyone have same chances on ctf, only fighting skill matters :) -> u dont have to relog to other pvp only server if u want some casual pvp ;)
