WE NEED A STICKY OR STAFF INPUT ON SERVER CONNECTION ISSUE

So... Evidently if you have a Charter ISP and/or you're on an ISP that is owned by Charter, our new awesome server has blocked all players from being able to log in.

The short term option is to use a VPN.... this is not an option... this is not a necessity to play UO, its a bandage to a dumb toggle setting or server setting.

That said, Not a single staff member has made a post, posted in the other post, nothing, in regards to this being worked on and figured out.

This is going on 4 hours? Of half the server not being able to play today.

Please just let people know that you're aware of the issue and working on it so people have an update or some type of communication from you guys about whats going on. Thanks.

In the mean time if you are having issues please try the following:

1. click start
2. type "cmd"
3. once the command window comes up type "ipconfig /flushdns"
4. restart your computer

Basically the short version of the issues is a few people's IPs who have been blocked by the server because of suspicious activity. We have been working with the host to get this resolved.

If the above does not work please try some of the following:
- Update the firmware on your router/modem
- Change the credentials to log into the router/modem
- If possible, disable WAN-side administration to the router/modem
- Scan your PC and home network for malicious software and viruses
- Update the firmware and change the passwords on other internet connected devices -- particular video surveillance devices
