Wasted Meta Exp

This. You can do all the champs and RDAs you want, your chance of getting a 120 taming is super low. So now you have to rely on other people which shouldn't be the case in any game really.

I disagree. This is a game where you should have to depend on others imo. It helps the economy.

So you're saying you should keep gaining exp for the next level that you don't have the taming for?

If you keep tailoring at 100 but don't have 105 should you still get gains? No
Why should meta exp work differently.

Metas aren't supposed to be easy.
They aren't supposed to be common either.
Ps and exp restrictions help control how many lvl 7 Pokemon are out there.
You could have been saving that gold for a ps from all that farming.

If the glove don't fit you must aquit

How does it help though, that is what I was getting at. The same people are the ones with relics/120 scrolls. In what way does that help the economy?
not only players with meta/120s/relics have them to sell.

But I see what you're saying. There is a bit of a monopoly going on.

The new rda system doesn't help with the monopoly issue. I don't agree about the exp issue. What does it hurt? If you think using your pet is a waste then don't use it.

They are somewhat related though. When there is a monopoly on 120 taming scrolls... your pet cannot evolve. At the very least the exp you get past the amount you need to evolve should carry over while you somehow get the amount of money to pay for an item that a monopoly controls.

why?

that would not be fair, cause you could just stay at level 6 until you have enough EXP to max out your control of a level 7 then eat a 120 PS.

the way it is is fine.

Well I think it's good that there aren't too many lvl 7 charizards yet.
The exp shouldn't carry.
Are you not getting a large sum of gold while raising exp?

You are... but you are depending on someone else getting that powerscroll and hopefully put it up for sale to the public. I dont disagree with the lvl 7 part, but this change was brought in really late. There are a ton of lvl 7 pets out there with tamers who are 115/115.

I don't mind it... but maybe they should open it up to 120 Lore AND/OR 120 taming. That would balance things out a little bit more and opens up more possibilities.

I meant to said the exp should not carry, was on my phone.

Well I think for level 7 you always had to have atleast 116 so you would have needed a 120.

If you're at level 6, honestly I would invest in relics. I don't intend on leveling mine past level 6 for quite a while.
I don't like the look of an Easter egg colored ancient wyrm following a tamer around.
level 7 has some control issues too.

Now I'm wondering.. Are you saying that

Example:
if your pet is level 6 but you only have 110 taming, you don't gain any experience in level 6? 0/3000000?

Or

Example:
if your pet is level 6 and you have 110 taming and you can't gain experience past 2999999/3000000?

There are quite a few tamers out there with 115 taming with level 7 metas. Sure there are control issues but its not as bad as people say.

I have a level 6 meta with QS, bloody and molten but I am far from level 7.

My main points are still the fact you are depending on others to get you a specific PS and the monopoly there is with that specific scroll. My suggestion of 120 lore or 120 taming would help the lost exp issue and allow people to evolve their pets instead of just waiting for a 120 taming to come along.

For clarification... right now you can have 5,000,000/3,000,000 exp at level 6. Once you get 120 taming the first mob you hit will evolve... but your experience will reset back to 0. The suggestion the OP is suggesting is that the lost 2M in this example just vanishes.

So you got QS, blood, and molten without depending on others? You found all of them?

Well just pretend that instead of it letting you go 5,000,000/3,000,000 that it caps at max 3,000,000/3,000,0000 because that's how it should be and in effect that is how it is. You don't really lose 2m exp. It's an illusion.

It is no so much for me specifically but for others in a general sense. I am fortunate to be in a guild that does champs/RDAs on a daily basis - others don't have this luxury.

The unfortunate part is it doesn't cap out at 3,000,000 like you are suggesting. Which is what the OP is saying - it is lost exp.
