Want to disable UO weather

Hey,

Is there a way to disable UO weather? I really don't care of the raining and snowing & the sounds they make. I've tried to toggle the Razor Filter "weather", but it doesn't work.

Someone help me please?

As I recall working with Chaos it's server side. An adjustment to their code can get rid of it or actually make the function work.

It's disabled on clients on purpose. It has always been that way on UOF to give the nostalgic feel I am guessing.

Just tested it in Steam.....
Houston, we're a NO GO for launch!

I switched to Razor after relogging after check marking weather. Now unless it just stopped raining in the seconds it took to relog. Then.....
it works in Razor

Meh! Sucks! You should be able to turn it off!

When you synchronize the client the raining stops.. but it starts again after a min or two.

Yea I noticed that. Thats why at first I was fooled. "Then came the rain and washed the spiders out!"....lol smh

Nostalgia is a matter of ones view so it just be left as an option to the player. I believe you could turn it on and off on OSI
