UO as I remember it

A big hello to everyone from 'back in the day' circa 1998 when I first started playing this silly game on Sonoma. (Mandark) over freaking dial-up.

I recently got the urge to get back into the game and started some characters on T2A, but....this isn't a single player game, and that's what unfortunately it seems to be devolving into.

I'm happy to see a server that's got good activity and plenty of non-consentual PvP just like I remember it from day 1.

I look forward to being the dismembered corpse at your feet...at least until you are.

Welcome, most people are in the zombie event this week, so it's usually much busier in game.

Oh they're not. That's the part I miss most. There hasn't been a single online RPG (that I've played anyhow) that duplicates the UO griefing experience. NPCs aren't scary. PK bob and 20 of his closest friends = scary.
