For being one of the most antiTrammie people I know......with modifications this idea could be okay, only because yeah to help new players get into the game and mechanics
You would have lot of stuff to change too, like leave the champ in but lessen the rewards SUBSTANTIALLY, deactivate any rare drops/spawn, lessen gold on mobs and stuff too. But it is something that could work for young players to run a dungeon for a set amount of time, give them the feel of a real one

If you want trammel, just pay 200k and join EQMS.
If there are no other guilds online, you literally have the freedom to spawn unencumbered.
Sure, they get the odd champ spawn steam rolled by a few players, but mostly the 15 to 25 of them can spawn in harmony like Trammel from 9 am to 5 am - depending on how addicted you are to UO.
