The last 0,4 to gm tailoring

I'm capped on oil cloth (99,6) and accoring to guides I should work on leather tunic or gorgets.

How much hide/leather will I need to GM from this? I find it hard to do cause leather weights a lot so you can't carry that much and need to fill your backpack all the time. The same goes for collecting hides so I guess I would need a packing horse/llama to be able to carry it?

Would really like some advice here...

Thanks mates

I don't remember exactly how much it took, but it wasn't a lot. Load up with a couple hundred, head down to the sewers and make some gorgets. You may have to recall back and grab some more leather a couple times, but it shouldn't be too much. An alternative is parking a packy just outside the sewers and running up the stairs to restock. Just watch out for thieves if you do that.

Really, it's after 100 that crafting for gains gets tedious. Scrolls are just faster, easier, and cheaper at that point once you figure in material cost.

For 99.6 - 100.0 I remember making studded tunics. I had followed this guide: http://uoforum.com/threads/super-guide-to-everything-resd-that-for-you.48619/#post-314387

You can make a Razor macro that does this:

Double-click sewing kit (set to "D-click by Type" in Razor in case a sewing kit wears out, it'll use another one)
Select Studded Tunic
Double-click Scissors
Target Studded Tunic (set to "Target by Type" to target any studded tunic in your pack)
Repeat/loop

I can send you the exact Razor macro I used once I get on in a little bit. This makes it easier to gain since it cuts up the tunic each time you make it, recycling the leather.

Thanks a lot! Would really like the macro.
In Windows XP:

Go to Start > Run... > type %appdata% and press [Enter]
Open the Razor folder, and then the Macros folder
Right-click and go to New > Text Document
Copy and paste this:

!Loop
Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickTypeAction|3997|True
Assistant.Macros.WaitForGumpAction|949095101|False|300
Assistant.Macros.GumpResponseAction|37|0|0
Assistant.Macros.WaitForGumpAction|949095101|False|300
Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickTypeAction|3999|True
Assistant.Macros.WaitForTargetAction|30
Assistant.Macros.TargetTypeAction|False|5083
Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:00.5000000

Save as "Training - Tailoring.macro"

----------

In Windows 7:

Go to Start > type %appdata% into the search/run box
Open the Razor folder, and then the Macros folder
Right-click and go to New > Text Document
Copy and paste this:

!Loop
Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickTypeAction|3997|True
Assistant.Macros.WaitForGumpAction|949095101|False|300
Assistant.Macros.GumpResponseAction|37|0|0
Assistant.Macros.WaitForGumpAction|949095101|False|300
Assistant.Macros.DoubleClickTypeAction|3999|True
Assistant.Macros.WaitForTargetAction|30
Assistant.Macros.TargetTypeAction|False|5083
Assistant.Macros.PauseAction|00:00:00.5000000

Save as "Training - Tailoring.macro"

----------

Now re-open UO/Razor and you should see a macro called Training - Tailoring.

To use the macro, first open a sewing kit and click the "Studded Armor" category. Now you can run this macro and it will select the 'Studded Tunic' button, wait for it to be crafted, then use scissors and cut up the tunic back into usable cloth-- then repeat.

Hope it helps!

Thanks a lot for taking your time helping me.

There's to things.

1. Wait for gump take like 5 mins. Shouldn't this be changed to like 2 sek or something?
2. The toon can only hold ~60 hides which is used in no time and therefore halts the macro (I need to manually transfer hide from another char like every 2 minute). Is there a way around this?

Yeah the 5minute timer happens if there is a little bit of lag. The gump can get delayed and it screws up the macro-- my bad. In the Razor window, you can right-click the Wait for Gump prompts, choose "Remove Action". Then just add a pause instead of 0.5s (500ms) or something.

Try using cut leather instead of raw hides. You can use scissors on hides, and it turns into cut leather (weighs less).

If you need help just let me know and I can hopefully give some assistance :)

I got to 99.6, set tailoring to "Down" in razor. Set wrestling to "Up". Hit a sheep twice and ate a scroll. Was pretty quick!
