Hello! I have just started playing and was going to make a Peace-Provo- Tamer. In reading the forums I don't see anyone using Peace. Is there a reason for this? Is a pure Bard a good Template here for making money? I am mostly PVM also.

Peace can be useful for the new tamer if you skill up in dungons. Personally I went for training peace music Provo lore magery meditation taming till I was gm taming. The. I dropped peace for vet. You can skill up taming with out ever going in a dungon but peace is useful from time to time. Once your done trying though it is about worthless.

Yup. Peace for training, ditch it for Provo when you're done taming for skill gains. Go mage/med + barding/taming skills.
Peace is very broken here: failure rate way too high, duration way too low. Provo is the opposite: success chance way too high and duration lasts until death...which seems kinda silly.
This server is about low barrier to entry as far as skill gain goes. There are only a few skills that are difficult to raise, taming being the most notable.
Tamers make the most gold by far, so it should make sense that easy skills such as barding should not be so highly rewarded. Peace does not generate gold...you still have to kill shit. Provo, on the other hand, generates gold. Soooooo the success/failure and duration should reflect that IMO, but whaddya do?
