Take out X-pot Tracking

First off don't even try and say they don't have tracking because you are full of it if you don't think X-pots don't have tracking.

I was 10 or more tiles away and a guy is running behind me and throws a X-pot and kills me.

Why is there tracking? Because if anyone has ever been dove hunting you have to lead the bird to kill it. So is there away to lead your X-pot? NO. So there for the X-pot tracks you. Please take this out of the game, unless you are going to give my archer shooting on the run, or my mage casting while running.

Adapt? You can avoid pots by breaking line of sight or you could just heal pot/bandage through multiple pots. In case you didn't notice you have unlimited stamina while running on this server and without explo pots you cannot deal damage to the sprinters.

This has been explained to you so many fucking times. The animation tracks you not the actual damage from the potion

I have used line of sight. If I drink an heal pot for 30 points I have to stop where he doesn't have to stop to throw. I have been over 12 tiles away and they can throw a pot and never miss

I don't need it explained, and it is not animation like an ebolt. Read the post. Have you ever been dove hunting??? Do you aim and shoot, or do you lead the target? Well there is no way to lead a target in UO so when the pot is thrown and I am moving it has to follow me in order to hit me(this is the animation you are talking about) and when you throw something does it magically float throw the air as the run or does it have a set trajectory? So this is where the tracking comes in because after it is thrown, I can see the numbers counting down and then tosses about the count of 2 and I am like 15 tiles away it will follow me.

Second just like I have to stop to drink a heal pot, they should have to stop to throw the x-pot you are just one of these no pvp skill pot throwing players. How hard is it to run a script that auto throws the damn thing while you run after them. I know not everyone uses a script, but if you really think players are not running scripts then you are just naive or maybe you are one of them using a script. This has to one of the most op easy templates. Just run with a weapon and throw pots while they run. Where is the skill in that???

So stop crying because you are worried that it might get taken away. That is why so many people get so heated about this subject. If you don't have something real to say then just keep your opinions to yourself.

If they throw the pot perfectly when you are in LOS and range it will hit you however far you offscreen.

It not like he threw the pot from 7 screens off and hit last target....

Seriously don't tell me to stop. Stop reading my posts and committing if you don't like my opinion.

I posted in the ideas and suggestion part of the forums, which the very reason for the forums are for players to come and submit their ideas and opinions about the game. I didn't ask you to come comment on my post or did I ask Shini to keep posting her sad face pics.(btw are such a good source of feedback)

You never know if they are going to change it or not until you try, but yes I agree it will probably not happen. I love this game and this shard. I see something that is wrong in MY opinion and voiced it on the forums. Not sure why everyone is so uptight about me posting my opinion?

So if you don't have any real to add to the topic just move on and troll someone else.

There is no trajectory. It targets like a spell. You are fucking dense as fuck
Exactly my point I am making. The whole reason for my post is that it targets like a spell. Was there mana used in targeting like a spell? On my mage I have to use mana for my spell to target. I must be so dense in thinking that when throwing an object it doesn't have a set trajectory

What I should have said was about 10-15 tiles away not screens. I will change that. But I get LOS and if I wasn't moving I can see it hitting me, but not when I am in a dead run. So your suggestion is to make pots useless if your target moves one step. You wonder why your getting so much hate? You are asking for a change for something you haven't learned to deal with and yet it would eliminate a ton of viable characters from pvp. So I repeat go learn and do not keep saying it's not "realistic" to track so it shouldn't because that is weak. Tell me how it's overpowered or it can be abused the make a decent suggestion and I will come and comment on that past positively.

I agree but i think the same should goes for spells , arrows , bolts ect ...

It's bullshit how they auto-follow you after that you're being targeted !
You should be able to attempt to dodge projectiles and have to actually aim for all your actions.

The simplest solution to this problem would be to turn UO into a third-person shooter game.
I already created a prototype so feel free to try it out and tell me if you like it better hun.
