This scenario has probably happened to quite a few people: you get all stocked up and ready for a tournament. You get your armor, your weapons, your potions. Your pack is over 100 items. You are at your max carry weight. The tournament starts. Your pack is now full of bonus potions and exceptional gear that you never needed in the first place. You can't unequip the exceptional halberd the game decided was a more worthy weapon than your valorite runic and you eat shit because you had to attempt to cast a spell with reagants you don't have and got off to a really bad start.
Can one of the following please happen:
A. An opt-out. Because we don't always need your exceptional quality dumpster gear, but we understand that many people do actually enter events naked and we wouldn't want that.
B. An exception where item count doesn't matter once the event rules take over. If you can make the game put gear in our pack and take it away from us magically, you can make our pack a bottomless pit for that time as well. I'm sure of it.
