Mountains, no. However, the water shown on the map is only about 2 to 3 screens away, which is pretty close, in my opinion. Your subjective opinion on desirability is just that, subjective.

Many people want secluded locations where they can macro/live without a lot of foot traffic. Not to mention there is a faction base nearby. They would see this home as very desirable.

I got a house on fire island right in front of mountains surrounded by trees ocean in frontyard and dungeon 2 screens away. Just wish it was bigger than a small tower.
