skill scrolls?

Could someone explain how these work? I googled it, but its fairly confusing to this old player.

Also, I think I get how power scrolls work. However, Do you need to get them in order? Or can you just buy a 120?

You wouldn't know what skill scrolls are because they weren't in the original game, unless they were added more recently. Basically it gives you a free level up of that particular skill.

Power scrolls let you gain skill beyond the base 100. Unless this server changes something, you can just use a 120 power scroll which is why 105 scrolls tend to be worthless.

So Skill Scrolls add a point to my skill? So If I am a 100 Mining, and I buy a 120 PS and 20 SS for mining, ding? Really?

Yes, although resource gathering skill scrolls are a little pointless since you miss out on getting the actual resources you would get from training them.

My understanding is thatvyou have to get and use the PS in order 105, 110, 115, 120.

And that also skill scrolls will only get you to 100.


I could be wrong but thats what I've heard.

you must use the PS in order and you must be at your current max in the skill to use the next PS. so you can not use a 105 PS till you are GM, cant use a 110 PS till you are at 105, and so on.

SS's can be used over GM but, they will not give you partial points. so if your at 99.1 you will not be able to use a SS. but you could use 5 SS's to go from 100 to 105 in a given skill (provided you had used a 105 PS for that skill).
