Shortcuts for a newbie?

Howdy,

I played UO back thru the beta and for many years following and stumbled across this while seeing if my old origin account still exists and was amazed to see how many people are in this server.

Are there any monetary shortcuts a "pk'd newbie" can take in order to skill up?

I've forgotten so much of the game mechanics like locking skills n so

skill gain really fast here and afk macroing is allowed except resorce gather and taming

u can make macros to lvl your char up so he can run around dungeons not afk and kill things

This guide helped me alot.

And this really is the best way to get going quickly on this server. Within a few days, you can have a GM bard that will be a farming machine. The proceeds of which you can use to start your other toons, PvP, crafter, tamer, etc.
