If you're on windows 7, go to your user folder. Then click organize>Folder and search options>View Tab. Then click "Show hidden files, folders, and drives"

Once you're you've done this you should see an App Data folder in your user folder. Double click this and in the App Data folder go to Local>Sallos>Ultima Online

Open the configuration file in notepad and edit the game-width and game-height values. File>Save and you're good to go.

Thanks all, I managed to set up a nice resolution. I was looking in the wrong location for the config file to begin with.

    Cheers all.

On modern monitors, especially 4K screens, the stuff in game will be very tiny on the screen. To fix this, use windows display scaling to "zoom" a significant amount, i.e., right click desktop, go to display settings, "change size of text apps and other items" to 200%. Right click on Sallos launcher and go to properties and then compatibility. Click "change hi dpi settings". Turn on "Use this setting to fix scaling problems" AND turn on "High DPI scaling override" at the bottom and set it to 'System'.

AFTER you get the size of the characters and items in-game correct (zoomed in enough), then you would modify your Sallos configuration files to alter the game window size so that it fills up your monitor. If you do this prior to the scaling/zoom stuff, then the window will likely be too big to fit on your screen.
