I'll stand by my argument that archers>meta tamers for Champion Spawns and RDA's. Metas take the cake in invasions thou. However... They may have just nerfed Archery points, I seem to be getting 1/2 instead of full?

Joeb mentioned in irc last night that the score changes were unintentional due to the server moving. He said they are looking into it to see what didn't transfer over. So I expect the scores to go back to how they were previously. Archers are good bc they are cheap and do score decently w/ little risk. I think when the dexxer relics come out tomorrow it should be interesting to see how the dexxers score vs meta pets.

I think they are referring to the % of commands the pets don't listen to.

Theres the pretty clear control issue with level 7's. They seem to accept commands at 60% or so. You can get around that by "All guard me" war mode click the mobs. This is a bandage fix that will still end up failing you and getting you or your pet killed. That brings us to the 2nd big issue. Level 7 metas have high skills that can't be trained naturally. A death can result to 1.4 points loss with no way to retrain. 3rd issue, You cannot max out your pets skills again without a lot of number crunching and about 10 deaths to make the skills even numbers. Skill Scrolls don't add fractions of a point. There are some other minor issues such as level 7's being slower than other pets. All these problems are not worth 1 extra relic spot.

Skills over cap issues aren't just for level 7 metas.

My 110/115 tamer has about the same control of his death beetle as 120 tamers have with level 7 metas. He still tears shit up. the 60% command thing is annoying I'm sure but it's hardly a deal breaker.

Pet speed I cannot comment on, but I would gladly take all of that for a 4th relic spot and beefed up stats and skills any day :/

I'll probably keep mine at 6 until changes are made, but it really doesn't matter when it's got quicksilver at 8, bloody and molten maxed.. it rolls through just about everything and it's easy to pull 50-60k pts at champ spawns.

Yeah I ran my beetle at 115/112 taming for the longest before the change and used the all guard for hunting with much success.

I'll probably cross that bridge when I come to it but sounds doable.

My point Bk is I can also get 50-60k at a champ by running a attack last target next grey macro. Stand behind your pet and watch netflix. Speculation is these tailsmans for dexxer will make them stronger. If thats the case I believe Archers will pull ahead of Metas.

I think they will too. My macer is probably going to be my main champ spawn character again once I get the talisman/relics.

A lot of people will need to alter their templates too. Bard/s wont be able to use them.

Or just make a new char super cheap and quick.

But then agakn who would want a bard dexer if you have a meta dexer? Maybe to dual client but I'd think you'd want a mage/bard to gate and stuff.
