Nox mage and poison field

Does poison field apply greater strength poison if you have poisoning skill? I have just under 80 poisoning and I don't see any increase in damage so far.

I don't think poisoning affects poison fields on this shard. It also does not affect Energy Vortex's or Blade Spirits.

If someone knows better, please correct me, but I am pretty sure I am right on this one.

It DOES affect the poison spell however.

If it only effects spell poison it doesn't seem viable compared to other options. Thanks Halygon.
