New player looking for info

Hi guys (and ladies),

Just a wanderer looking around to see what's going on, wanted to ask a few questions to see if this place is the right place:

1- Is there any RP community here? (guilds, or other activity)
2- How safe it is to farm in dungeons?
3- How are the skill gains?
4- What era exactly is UO Forever? T2A? AOS? UOR?
5- A bit specialist, are we allowed to poison spears here?
6- I couldn't get a confirmation email for my initial account, so had to recreate one..is it because my other email is @hotmail.com?

1. Refer to the RP forum under the community section - yes there's a pretty good RP community. I love it.
2. Somewhat safe at certain times, but always a risk of PKs. I think it makes it more exciting!
3. Skill gains go fast for the most part, double gains in dungeons. Some skills take a lot more time though. (Taming and poisoning are a few to name)
4. It is before t2a but with some small differences. Very well balanced IMO.
5. Only one handed weapons can be poisoned.
6. Don't know about the email confirmation.

As a sandbox game, it can be the right place for anyone. Here on UOF I've found a great RP community, great PvP, awesome GM run events. But the best part is the community of players and admin. Always answers to any questions and plenty of people to help newer players get started.

Look into the guild Free City of Trinsic.[Trin]
You'll find it to be one of the best guilds on the server. Great people and also some RPing along with everything else the game has to offer.
