Need some help | New to Ultima Online | Builds?

What exactly, like how exactly does this game work with classes/builds. I was looking on wiki at templates i guess there called and looking for like something basic and easy to follow and theres all these things. Like i see people talking about being a fisher,tamer and stuff like that. What exactly does all this mean/do? Incase it helps and if anybody wants to help me i wanna be able to use bows and fish and stuff like that so would i be a ranger/fisher?

I'd recommend making multiple characters for multiple roles - if you try to fit everything you'd like to do in the game on one character, you might find you're not very good at any of them.

Fishing and Archery can work well together, though, as you'll have the capability of fishing up some nasties eventually.
