Your risk is getting your kills looted, the reward is revealing that looter who will then be GREY (criminal) and killing his ass.

Problem Solved.

If you are not good enough or skillfull enough to reveal him/kill him then you simply are not at that skill level yet. You will get there, i promise.

id liek to respectfulyl sayu ninja looters have no risk, or theives. if they are successful they win, if not no big deal nothing lost.atleast reds get statted. but yea i ranted bad sorry shane u rock!!!!!!!!1

wheres the risj vs reward when you just hide and ninja loot stuff? yea there isnt any risk

its a bit of a contradiction to sell this shard as "risk vs reward"

if you dont fx such a glaring problem i can no longer support it monetarily

dont let the door hit you on the ass on the way out

oph oplease wheres the risk in a guy in underwear gettign kileld? none at all

i have no respect for any game that does not have a consitant philosophy

either its risk vs reward or it isnt

yea real hardcore game buncha scripters and griefers thats all you folks are

and scavengers

So by your logic no one should be able to loot your dead body. Making it no risk and all reward for you. Sounds like you may have let WoW brain wash you lmfao

The "risk" for them is that they have to waste 10 minutes of their lives waiting for your dumb ass to kill a mongbat so they can swipe the 20gp reward

just ninja looted destard, aint anythign anyoen can do about it, they did kill me i just rez and keep going nothign to lose
Just do this, over and over and over and over.. Eventually you'll get something good. ~175k for an ethy too isn't too hard specially if your going at it like a suicide bomber.

Make a theif. You'd be surprised how often you come across someone with something valuable in their backpack that's stealable. You just need patience and a bit of luck.

Exactly it's called nothing to lose just keep trying to steal or ninja loot you will get something worth while. And in the event that you fail there is zero punishment oh and in the event that you succeed there is zero punishment.

MANKRIK

Grandmaster
Again, the punishment is that he wastes time trying to steal scraps and getting constantly killed for it when he could be out making 100k/hour fishing. If you reveal him and kill him every time he tries it he'll get bored really quickly.

I concede about loot rights. On my 2 hour commute to work I realized its fine as it is. the only ninja looters really are just scrubs because its not that great of a thing to do full time.

I will not concede about thieves. not when someone can steal 800k item and the worse they face is failing and wasting a little bit of time

who would carry an item worth 800k and risk it being stolen in the first place?

And this is the type of response that usually ends with the mother-load of all tears. Not saying from you, but there are indeed people who 'forget' about their priceless set of pixels, hidden among a very messy backpack *HINT : CLEAN YOUR BACKPACKS, DO YOU NOT KNOW ABOUT BASIC HOUSEKEEPING?????????* which usually ends up in thieves pocket. You see it weekly, you also see the astronomical amount of rage that even Zeus himself would be impressed by. So, your answer is to "Who would carry an item worth 800k and risk it being stolen in the first place?" Is answered by : ANYONE who forgets...

i speak of cellebrunm who bragged about stealing a gorilla statue after a guy bought it off a vendor, he hid and stole it.

I don't see any justice that will ever come his way for that, or any thief who successfully steals something, there will never be justice. if you are red, evcentually you will get statted and that's justice

Going to lock this thread.
I'm glad you were able to take the time with this monktoast.
UO's a grief-riddled world. You bet. But it's that part of the game that has us playing it 15+ years later.
I hope you continue to grow with the shard! We all get frustrated.
