Ok, I've killed 100's of earth eles and I have not gotten anything. What is the deal with the drop rate? As of right now it feels like a complete waste of time and effort to go for the mobs. I'm somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-800 earth eles this week alone. I've been killed over and over and had blues dart to the body of every kill I make for about 5 days now.

Monster of the Month is a lie. Don't bother IMO.

i think i am over 20,000 MOTM kills since it has started, which i know there are people out there that have killed more than that, with that being sad, i have gotten 1 yard of cloth from MOTM. Happy Hunting :D

If you planned on farming MOTM then that is silly, you recall in, kill a few and split!!!

I don't care about dying lol. I go naked with a gm katana and a crappy shield. Apart from the gold most pk's don't even take my stuff. I am more concerned with the drop rate.

numerous players had gotten relics on their first MOTM of the day/week/ever

its all luck sadly, my players were lucky in other types of endeavors

agreed I think the rates have been modified .. almost worth less as theres really no way anyone is going to make anything with the cloth as you need at least 8 I think for something worth while .
The chest , Title and relics are just fine the way they are and should be very rare .. the cloth however .. I think its way waaaay too rare.. as it is now there is very little to show for MOTMS ..

As a pvm thing cloth drops should be extremely rare. Personally I would have preferred seeing any cloth updates going into the BOD system.

Fair enough and I tend to agree.. I think the new Cloth could have more purpose elsewear ... But what I was thinking of was a semi rare MOTM item , just so that doing this nets at least a little something , Even if its pieces of items that can combine into a final item .. or something .. the rate of anything on MOTMS now is becomming frustrating .. and Frustration leads to burnout .. which leads to player loss .

well I think they'll probably have ettins and earth elementals again eventually so it will probably be the same cloth then too. If you can't get it made in a month you might have to wait a while. That is, if you don't have the chedda to buy the cloth from other players.

Cloth seems to be a much lower drop rate this month unless I was just extremely lucky last 2 months.

I've killed close to 1000 eles with no cloth. However I have got a chest and golden relic this month! First of both from MOTM for me so I don't feel like I've wasted any time ;)

500k find for killing an earth elemental seems seriously reasonable..

The cloth is dropping, it's just people are finding one cloth here and there and it's spread out amungst the people. There for you're going to have to buy cloth to make some clothing with it. It is rare, true rares that you can craft...

Right Im just suggesting the cloth not be as rare as the chests .. Relics .. I think the cloth should be rare , but not as rare as it is now..
myself Ive Killed 1300+ eleys based on my conquest (I checked b4 MOTM , to see how many I end up killing ) and the month is half done, all I have is 1 cloth to show, and nothing else no chests no relics nada .. a bit frustrating and will eventually just lead to people not doing it because its not worth the effort (IE: hyloth altar boss).

Sure its just earth eleys , but the difficult part is avoding the PK surges that accompany easy MOTM's and what makes it worse on the pk front is there really is just one place to farm Earth Eleys .. in my opinion other earth type eleys IE Deep earth , valorite Eleys etc should have been included as MOTM eligible .

I should clarify tho that.. NO I dont want the cloth to be common .. no no not at all .. jsut a slight tweek..
It actually almost seems the drop rate for cloth this month was altered to make cloth more rare .. last month i was able to get 4 cloth in this time period , for the short durartion the dragon cloth was avalible I managed 3 ..

just made a few statements about this couple nights ago, these cloth yards are worth over 800k and people are selling it 150k to barracoon from $ like idiots lol i seen him cop few noobs for it

@Shane I'm up for whatever man! Don't take my post as criticism or complaint. Just stating what I have seen so far. I am and have been enjoying myself ;)
