I agree with @Salsa would be nice to have the ability to keep my steed a horse. Not fond of the other transformations.

Maybe last stage steed have a dono item to make a mammal last stage a reptile visually... no change in stats or anything... maybe the next meta pet that comes out will have a dono form you can buy
