Meta Pet Dragon Dilemma

is there any reason to own a meta dragon if you never get a relic to use it with? I'm looking around the selling forums and noticed they go for insane prices. I'm starting to believe that I may never get to own one ever(at least the top 3 relics). unless I get lucky in an RDA, but then I've only participated in 2-3 which was months ago. The RDA portals that I've found recently are all empty or they are locked down by certain groups/guilds.

besides spending millions on a relic.

need high taming when meta dragon gets to lvl 6-7.
need to buy a meta stone which is expensive.
constantly get griefed by players who only wants to kill your meta pet.

Should I dump my meta drag and just invest in a meta mage/warrior?

I call for everyone to release your metas intown(do they get guardwhacked....hope so or my idea sucks)

It's definitely an expensive decision, but I do not regret getting 120/120 and lvl 7 meta with quicksilver. Once you're there, a death beetle looks like a mongbat.

Ok maybe a greater mongbat.

Well i Can probably make more gold per hour with my meta without having provo/Music/vet

I have 5x mage + taming + lore and still make 100k+ every hour and die like once a week and kill pks while i farm
Good luck doing that with a normal dragon/WW combo

Also, my lvl 6 meta+mare kills a blood elemental Paragon in the same time a drag/WW kill a normal blood elemental. I Can only imagine How it'll be at lvl 7

Then again, you need mils to get a good meta. If you can't buy relics, especially QS, you better stick with normal pets

The average tamer is looking to be greedy, though. The average joe tamer ain't trying to knock down reds as he farms.

u can farm motm... sure the chances are not high, but if u don't do rdas/champs its still your best bet.. quite a few have dropped from ettins...

if u find an RDA and pm bobby on irc we wil kill everyone else except you (and share the loot), we did it many times

i've decided to just use normal pets to hunt. will probably sell the meta drag and use the funds to get myself some dexxer relics and at the same time contribute to the dungeon altars for a chance at getting a relic :)

sorry meta dragon, you're getting too expensive for me.
