So I had entered the big 1v1 Standard 7x tourney a few weeks ago. I was using a vanq warhammer but decided I want to switch to my qstaff for spell disruption. I was disappointed to find out that the dueling ruleset prevented it.
So I did some more investigation. Turns out you can't wield a magic q staff in the pits. I'm testing it as we speak. I can throw on a Vanq warhammer. I can throw on a Vanq war mace. I can put on an exceptional q staff. But none of my magic q staffs are allowed. The exact message is "The dueling ruleset prevents you from equipping this item."
Just so are we clear, I've tried several of the different dueling rules, including messing around with the custom settings.
