Issue staying logged on unattended

i have an issue trying to stay logged on unattended, like for handouts.

i can even set a macro to be doing anything, and i get disconnected anyways. had 2 guys logged in yesterday walking around saying shit, still got dc...so of course i missed the handouts.

anyone know what it could be..?

Was only on yesterday morning so I couldn't say for sure. Maybe they did a server restart before handing them out?

Sounds like a problem with your connection. To troubleshoot this you should try to recreate the problem while having "pingplotter" running. Once you lose connection in UO again, check in pingplotter what happened. This will show roughly where the problem is.

na, it does it literally every time i leave them unattended for a little bit...around 20 min or so.

i will have to try this one out...never heard of it before

It maybe your computer settings on my laptop I cam stay logged in forever macro ing but on my computer I get dced after a few mins. I think the data transfer is so low that it goes in to a sleep mode.

Does you comp go into sleep mode after a while?

I ended up changing my power settings so that neither the monitor or hard drive "sleep". Doing so has helped keep me from DCing, but doesn't always work. Sometimes if there is a "hiccup" with my macro, a large lag spike, or a world save, the macro will sometimes hang (usually on "wait for target"), and then do to inactivity, I lose connection. It is possible something like this is also happening to you.

It definitely is your connection, I've had to macro off counts in the past and had characters on for 3 days straight without a disconnect.

it does go to sleep and i use razor...i will turning off sleep and see what happens


ive had the same computer for 5 yrs and never had an issue til this year. weird...

I have the issue with being logged off and attended.

Not even a joke here, just wanted to be an annoyance. I think I did my job well.

So Im not sure if its been said but check your sleep modes on yoyr computer....if it goes to sleep your connection will be lost

Don't use razor macros that move you, they can cause you to glitch out and DC.

But my money is on the sleep thing
