In-town RDA Portal

With all this RDA stone talk. I'd like to offer an idea.

How about adding an RDA portal that spawns in a town bank with the same cooldown time. This will give players who aren't into pvping or casual solo players a chance at fighting in one of these. Kinda like invasions, accessible by everyone. Now, will this kill the market for relics, eggs, etc...? not really. since they're pretty much controlled by only a few players. and they still have 3 RDA's around the world to work with + champ spawns.

ive seen 2 in GZ since the reworking. 1 in moonglow 1 in skara but thats not gonan stop reds entering?

No I'm sure reds will have no trouble getting in, getting out will be the hard part. No fields to worry about...but on foot only able to heal each other and cast on those who flagged on them...will not be a picnic by any means.

At least you have five minutes to de-crim now instead of two before the portal closes so reds have that going for them if raiding in town.

Right now only a powergamer can handle one solo.

I am kinda hoping we get some new lesser random encounters that are doable by solo players. With that would come lesser relics of course, but it would be cool to have something for more up and coming players to be able to do to keep things interesting and also provide a chance for a nice drop.

MotM doesn't quite achieve that IMO.

I wanna see random encounters with waves of orcs, liches, daemons, etc all guarding a chest that has t-map style loot and bosses like an orc brute, or an ancient lich, or a shadow daemon that have a small (like 5%) chance of dropping a talisman relic.

Spawn 3 every 6 hrs, or make them spawn every 3 hrs so they have a bit of a different cycle than RDAs.

I really wanna see stuff like that to keep things fresh without adding a lot of stuff that requires heavy dev time. This would be a good way to recycle content IMO.
