Haven't played since 2003 have a few questions about UOF

Hello all I stopped playing awhile ago and just happened to stumble upon UOF and I'm super stoked to start up again but I have a few questions. I've been reading through till last Christmas on the forum and still reading looking for answers but here's a few questions I have.
-Donations coins, I read about them from the sight but a little unsure still of what they are.
-Regs, there use to be a vendor where you could buy bulk regs in the thousands I can't remember where it was (it's been so long) but was curious if anywhere like that is still around.
-Young status, when I start a char is it still in young status for 7 days? And that means you can't be pk'ed or killed by monsters correct, so I should be good to train hard in a dungeon.
-STR/DEX/INT, I used to buy as many skills as needed from vendors to max out 700 then raise and lower skills from 0 to like 20 to gain fast STR, dex, and int. Is this still the best way to gain?
Again thank you for any info you can provide, stoked to be back soon!

Donation coins: You can donate with real money or buy them with gold in game off of other players. There are 3 Donation coin vendors each sells different types of items. Exotic things, Ethereal horses, rare hued clothing, house deco, CBD's etc etc. Just check them out at West Britain Bank. Right in front of the bank you'll see them in all of their glory. You can sell donation coins yourself after donating typically going for around 180-200K GP per 1k donation coins right now. I suggest selling the coins in "raw form" versus in item form as they lose value once you buy something and attempt to sell the item. That is if you want to sell them.

Regs: NPC vendors are in every town. They stock on a timer however many players who run Bulk Reg vendors buy them on said timers so it can Sometimes be difficult to get them off of NPC's but not impossible. Buying Bulk regs off of player vendors at a marked up price is another option. Try moonglow NPC's.

-Young status: 500 skill young player show real and/or 48 hours In game I BELIEVE is the young status limit. You can be attacked however no one attacks young's typically as they will be frozen if they kill you for a minute or so. You do not lose the items on your body when you die as a young and mobs will not Aggro you unless you decide to aggro them first.

Stat gain: Don't worry about that. Stats and skills gain extremely quick on this shard outside of Animal Taming, Poisoning and Lockpicking(from 95-gm). You can adjust them later on too. The closer you get to the 700 skill cap does not slow your skill gain so feel free to get some of the easy ones out of the way first.
