Gargish Alphabet and Duplicate Single Letters vs Double Letters

Several of the recipes have SH for example... but there is an SH rune and a S and H rune respectively.

For example.

SHU - theres an SH rune and separate S and H runes
ZHAJD - theres a ZH rune and separate Z and H runes.

Is it interchangeable or one way is correct and one way is wrong?

Basically you have two options then if don't have the one rune you can use two.
