Just looking for your guys thoughts on the value of these two runics:

Exceptional / Exorcism / Fortified / Might / Surpassingly Accurate
Exceptional / Repond / Fortified / Might / Surpassingly Accurate

Not to knock those swords (which are pretty sweet) all colored ore does is improve durability, right?

I've seen no mention of any other effect on this site, or any other similar era UO shards.

You may want to Google runic smithy hammers.

The eapon properties of the hammers work like this:
Dull Copper: Durable Accurate
Shadow Iron: Durable Ruin Accurate
Copper: Fortified Ruin Surpassingly Accurate
Bronze: Fortified Might Surpassingly Accurate
Gold: Indestructable Force Eminently Accurate
Agapite: Indestructable Power Eminently Accurate
Verite: Indestructable Power Exceedingly Accurate
Valorite: Indestructable Vanquishing Supremely Accurate

But I was asking about the color of the metal itself having an effect on the weapon.

All those mods add damage. Exceptional is the same as a plain Force. Then you have might and tactics bump.

I guess the community has a reading comprehension issue. >.>
Firstly. It is the way you worded your question. In a selling thread involving ruinous weapons.
Secondly. I know exactly what you mean now that you have re worded it.
Thirdly. This is information you could have obtained through 5 minutes of in game testing.
Don't bash those training to provide you with answers. Especially when multiple are reading your question the same way. Sometimes its not everyone else's fault.

1: How was, "Not to knock those swords (which are pretty sweet) all colored ore does is improve durability, right?" confusing?
2: What?
3: "I've seen no mention of any other effect on this site, or any other similar era UO shards." Again, what about that was confusing?

I'm being serious, I want to know how the confusion began.

Well, I see the confusion beginning with "Not to knock those swords (which are pretty sweet) all colored ore does is improve durability, right?"

There is no reason why that question should be asked and then post your response to the answer where he linked the magical attributes of the runics. The guy is selling slayer bronze runic swords. If he was selling non-runic bronze swords then your quesiton would be valid.

Context. Hopefully that is all I have to say before further derailing the wts RUNIC swords thread.
(General discussion- does colored ore add any properties? Would have saved a lot of headaches. )

The reading comprehension woes of this community go deeper than I first thought.

Volco was able to understand me just fine, AND able to give me a valid answer.

Be like, Volco.

No surprise. Still can't admit your fault. Good thing you read so well. As in "wts
Exorcism & Repond Bronze Runic Katana's"

It isnt just a colored ore weapon. He posted they are bronze RUNIC weapons. If you try to take a bronze runic hammer and craft with valorite ore for instance you will not get a good weapon. The ore and runic hammer need to match to get the special runic properties.

You are purposely trolling anyway. Some just get sucked in easier than others. It seems if you didnt know the difference you figured it out and just kept feinting ignorance to mess with people.
