Saw someone today with a "minty gator"
He said it was an evo dragon and ran off.
Can someone explain how they work
How do obtain one
Taming requirements?

From what I've read, it spawns in one of the new RDA's. I saw one as a small snake form, forgot what it was named though. Adam said in irc that they would require 116 taming, but this was before they were officially released so I'm not sure if that still holds.

The more you use them to hunt, the stronger they get

Saw it myself. It uses a mint green colored lava lizard graphic.

Is it similar to a nightmare in strength?

It comes in different hues, the one existing is 2655 hue
The lizard stage is similar to mare in strength, but has no magery.

There are like 7 or 8 stages.... That's only one of them.

We will release some information on these soon. I am not fond of the word "EVO DRAGON" as this isn't what other previous servers have had. This was scripted from the ground up by Adam and made so they can't be macro'd up to their final stage and many other things.

Can dexxors get a weapon that increases in strength as it is used too ?

i saw the 4th evolve which is a swamp dragon lookie thing, its very strong already, 700 hp, and 400 int and or was that str?
it has 105 skill in w restling, anatomy, tactics and 100 poisoning and fucking magery to 100/100/100. so yea it seems pretty good to me for pvp . The only downside is it requires 120 taming and 115 lore to command, so a pvp tamers build will be less strong playerwise and more dependent on the pets prowess to win. but we will see how that pans out if it end up with like 1000 hp and firebreath consider me changing my template=]

Finally having 120 taming means something.

I might add the evolution stages are a blast, im a big pokemon fan
